We are looking for an ICT technical lead to join our growing Digital Solutions team. We offer an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that is both challenging and rewarding. **Purpose of the role**

**2.** **Role Description**

The focus of the role will be:

- Technical management and oversight of the on-prem systems of the organization, including but not limited to the following,
- Network infrastructure including office inter-connectivity and internet breakout
- On-prem data backup systems and data archiving
- ICT hardware and software asset management
- End-user computing device management and support
- Technical management and oversight of cloud hosted systems of the organization, including the following,
- Microsoft Azure tenant management
- Microsoft Azure virtual server and data storage management, including related resource groups, app services and related virtual networking components.
- 3rd party cloud systems, including Microsoft 365
- Technical management and oversight of the organization’s cyber-security platform and related services
- Implementation of organization’s ICT Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and various ICT governance and policy frameworks and requirements.
- Supplier engagement and procurement management of ICT suppliers to the organization
- Mission critical systems monitoring and reporting to ICT leadership and business leadership
- Management of the IT support analysts and oversight of IT service desk requests and incidents
- 2nd to 3rd level IT support for users and complex ICT issues as needed
- Management and oversight of the ICT budget for the organization
- Assist ICT leadership in budget development and implementation of cost management and control measures
- Recommendation and Implementation of new ICT systems as acquired by the business, including assistance with the motivation, planning and analysis of new system requirements.
- Provide technical ICT assistance and advice to the Digital Solutions team as required
- Provide technical ICT assistance and advice to engineering and advisory project teams on specific client projects as needed and as directed by ICT leadership.

The following specifications apply: (qualifications, software packages, number of years’ experience, etc.)
- Minimum of 5+ years experience in IT systems support and implementation and leading a team
- B degree in IT or related fields is advantageous
- Industry certifications that demonstrate technical competence, e.g.
- Microsoft certifications
- ITIL certifications
- Vendor specific certifications
- Experience in managing a Microsoft IT environment especially Microsoft 365 and related products.
- Advanced skills and experience in implementing, managing, and supporting the following Microsoft products:

- SharePoint & OneDrive
- Teams
- Outlook
- Active Directory and Azure Entra ID
