Our Client is mandated to not only investigate allegations of fraud, corruption, and misconduct, but also to support business in managing fraud risk via transaction analysis and pro-active measures.  As part of this mandate, they utilise data streams across the enterprise.  This role would allow you to take a leading role in the development of forensic solutions and in this you would be contributing to the effective management of fraud risk.  

**Key Result Areas**:
Data Science - thought leadership: Design and develop models in collaboration with the forensic team to understand fraud risks faced by the business. Develop models and solutions that directly address the fraud risk using data-driven models and AI libraries, including facial recognition and natural language processing.
Turn models into solutions: Package and integrate the developed solutions into existing business processes. Provide technical leadership to the development team.
Influence the adoption of AI in support of fraud management: Advocate for the use of AI solutions in fraud management and provide research insights and strategic input.
Solutions development and maintenance: Develop, support, and manage Forensic and AML solutions. Maintain optimized processes by automating, sequencing, and controlling aspects.
Maintenance and optimization of data-pipelines: Assist in maintaining and optimizing the data-pipelines of the team's warehouse in AWS.
Help manage fraud risk: Maintain focus on managing fraud risk primarily.
Provide ad hoc administrative, data analysis, project management, and/or development support.

**Qualifications, Skills, and Experience**:
Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related disciplines,
Knowledge and understanding of Enterprise IT environments
Experience with Machine Learning / Deep Learning
Experience in developing and packaging software solutions, and
Knowledge and experience working with AWS / AMS.

**Knowledge and experience in any / all the following would be an advantage**:
Data / Systems integration (e.g., using APIs) experience
Comfortable in working with native AWS technologies
Full Data Stack implementation using AWS, SQL, CloudFormation, GitHub
Experience using Alteryx, RStudio or Jupyter notebooks
Experience with ML frameworks and tools (e.g. pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Pytorch, Spark MLlib)
Experience using graph databases
MS SQL warehouse experience
Experience in C#, VB.NET

**Skills**:
Microsoft SQL Server, Python, SSIS
