Presale Solution Architect

**Key criteria**:

- Experience and expertise in performing this role in a variety of banks and/or banking vendor organizations
- Technologically sound with good breadth of understanding of Banking, Enterprise and Cloud technologies, and reasonable depth in some of those domain and technology areas
- Excellent communication skills with experience and ability to connect with senior leaders in banks
- Very good inter-personal skills and ability to work with mix of local and offshore teams
- Good understanding of banking industry eco-systems and forums
- Typically (not mandatorily), an overall experience of at least 15 years, with at least 5 years in this specific role
- Preferable experience in large MNC banks, or even Start-up banks,
- Preferable to have a good network within the banking /financial industry

**Experience and responsibilities**:

- Responsible for increasing sales winnability through individual efforts
- Responsible and accountable for the ‘Solution identification, Solution mapping and Solution suggestion’ during the RFP/RFI stage
- Identify value propositions aligned to the Finacle sales strategy defined for a specific client pursuit and/or market as well as for the business & technology needs of the client
- Have an 'Outside-in' approach, working from the perspective of the client financial institution during the sales cycle and initial implementation project. Bring understanding of client strategy, needs, expectations to the solution proposition.
- Map to the 'Key Decision Influencer' in a pursuit and be the 'go-to' person for them from solution and architecture perspective (while Sales map to the 'Decision Maker' in the pursuit)
- Participate actively during the Pursuit with internal teams and with the prospect client interactions to convince and justify the proposed ‘Solution Architecture’, and continue intermittent engagement with the client and the delivery team post sales, to the extent needed
- Guide the proposal writing or RFP response teams on the solution aspects wherever needed, to ensure the right perspective goes into the proposal or responses
- Own and drive the high-level solution sections of the proposal / bid to ensure right / optimum solution is proposed
- Participate, advise and consult with the pursuit BDM on key sections in the opportunity pursuit document on an on-going basis, including business/client issues, high level solution description, competitive analysis and overall opportunity objectives
- Responsible for influencing the product strategy or roadmap to meet the opportunity’s timelines
- Be a constant thread between Sales, BCG, Product and Delivery functions until the deal closure to ensure right / optimum solution
