**Job Description**:

- You will take on a range of different tasks under the direction of your manager. The focus will be on short term mine planning scenario options. Some of your day-to-day responsibilities include the following:

- Corrective action options for identified deviations from plan
- Shaft plans
- Mine technical systems required for mine planning purposes
- Financial and resource modelling
- Medium term mining plans
- Track actual performance against selected scenarios

**This role is in the Mining Department and is at a Band 6 level reporting to the Chief Mine Planner.**

**Qualifications**:

- To be considered for this role you must have:

- Grade 12
- Advanced Survey or Mining qualification

**Knowledge & skills**:

- 5 years’ operational experience in the mining/survey discipline
- 5 years’ experience in mine planning
- Computer literate (strong MS Excel)
- Deswick or MineRP Planning experience (advantageous)
- Valid driver’s license

**Physical requirements**:

- Fit to work in a Graphic Mine Design environment

Certificate of Fitness for underground inspections advantageous
