**Job Description**:

- As the Operator: Control Room, your responsibilities will be, but not limited to, the following:

- Management of Breakdown Maintenance by preparing, prioritizing and distributing Breakdowns Works Orders and recourses associated with the work management process
- Effective control and monitor Engineering of systems
- Monitoring of environmental systems and follow-up tasks
- Compilation of reports to approved standards
- To ensure accurate and timely capture of data.
- Notify the appropriate HOD should he/she identify non-compliance with any approved policies, procedures and Maintenance Schedules.
- Notify Planner if he is made aware of any new equipment to be registered.
- Monitoring of environmental systems
- Manage, note and report emergency situations to relevant HOD’s
- Operate the underground ambulance
- Effective control and monitor call out requirements

**This role is in the Engineering Department at a C1 level reporting to the Maintenance Planner**
- Qualifications
- Grade 12 / N3 Engineering Studies

**Experience, Skills and Knowledge**
- At least 2 years’ experience as a Control Room Operator OR at least 2 years’ underground experience
- SAP PM & MM experience (advantageous)
- Medically fit for underground work
- Valid driving license code 08
