**GENERAL WORKER**

Doves is a 100% black owned Company and one of the largest funeral directing companies in Southern Africa. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

**CLEANING**
- Keep all Doves vehicles neat and clean.
- Keep premises and gardens neat and clean.
- Keep mats, machinery and other equipment clean.

**GRAVE PREPARATION AND ASSISTANCE**
- Assist with the setup of the grave site i.e grave mats & machinery set up.
- Where necessary, take all documentation for grave orders to the municipal cemetery.

**EXECUTE GENERAL TASKS**
- Able to carry out all reasonable instructions from Manager.
- Assist with general office /yard duties as requested by the Manager.
- Perform all work according to work orders and load and unload materials / coffins, etc. as per requirement.
- Assist to move all materials from the storage area to designated work areas.
- Coordinate with the Branch Manager and perform all general duties as required by same.

**Minimum Requirements**

1. Some high school qualification

2. Literate and numerate

3. Physical strength, hand-eye coordination and endurance

4. Able to concentrate on tasks.

5. Ability to understand and communicate

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Somerset West, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
