CSV is currently seeking to add a **Junior Civils Foreman** **(Earthworks) **to its team of professionals for a **3-year contract.**

**Junior Civils Foreman (Earthworks)**

**Job Summary**:
The Junior Civils Foreman (Earthworks) is responsible for supervising and co-ordinating the work of their subordinates in the excavation and hauling of materials to create the ideal base for construction works. The Junior Civils Foreman (Earthworks) will ensure that works are completed as per project programmes, within the set timeframes and to the correct quality standards.
- **Duties/Responsibilities**:_
- Assist in managing and controlling all aspects of earthworks on Site
- Creates schedules and assigns general and daily tasks to subordinates
- Ensures that all resources (people, plant and materials) are scheduled, planned and or ordered timeously as per Company protocols and processes
- Supervising and mentoring construction workers assigned to the work area
- Ensures that records are completed accurately - daily diaries, HSE paperwork, attendance registers, order forms, amongst others
- Liaises with all project stakeholders, internal and external client representatives
- Ensures safety standards and guidelines are followed
- Troubleshoots routine issues
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- **Required Skills/Abilities**:_
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read drawings
- In-depth knowledge of construction industry and processes
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- **Education and Experience**:_
- At least 3 - 5 years’ experience as a Junior Civils / Earthworks Foreman
- **Additional Requirements**:_
- Must have a clear criminal record (Client Requirement)
- Must have a valid drivers licence
- Must be medically fit
