Education: Grade 12

Primary Duties:
Ensuring that correct raw materials have been issued prior to starting time
Ensure Line workers are on time. (Start of day, after tea and after lunch)
Recording absenteeism and plan production line accordingly
Make daily target. Actual vs Planned
Reduce rejects
Motivating line workers to make the daily targets
Ensure Health & Safety Regulations, CPA and company rules are adhered to
Ensure adherence to the given Work instructions
Daily logging of the production figures
Daily logging of all required procedures e.9., Job card
Ensure accuracy of labels and job cards
Discipline production workers when necessary
Record downtime and cause
Ensure cleanliness of production line
Balance the line to enforce lean manufacturing principles

Secondary Duties:
Responsible for training and mentoring all new line employees.
Responsible for the line employees' work and production levels. This requires the
supervisor to monitor and assess the lines production quality.
Responsible for training and mentoring to ensure the quality of the line's product.
Required to assist in all process improvement projects and line enhancements that are
completed by management.
Responsible for implementing all new procedures and processes required and
implemented by management in relation to line operations.
