- To prepare and submit all statutory reporting to the Council for Medical

Schemes
- Assist with audit preparations

**LOCATION**
- B Comm Degree with Accounting.

**PREFERRED MINIMUM EDUCATION / Well versed with IFRS standards /SKILLS compliance**
- **Advanced excel knowledge**:

- **SAP experience an advantage**:

- **MS OFFICE (Excel, Word, E-mail)**:

- 3-5 years’ experience as a bookkeeper
- Medical Schemes Reporting
- Experience in a medical scheme administration industry or similar essential (must have worked for a medical aid administrator or directly for a medical scheme)

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Maintenance of scheme cash book
- Payment of Scheme creditors and ad hoc invoices and assisting with related queries
- Perform creditors reconciliations
- Prepare and assist with general ledger reconciliations to support management accounts
- Produce weekly and monthly Bank account reconciliations
- Capturing of journal entries in general ledger
- To complete and submit all quarterly, annual and other statutory returns.
- Assist with maintaining of fixed assets register
- To assist with the audit preparation and queries
- Ad hoc functions

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R420,000.00 per year

- Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
