Our growing company is seeking a highly skilled and motivated warehouse returns officer to join our team. With a minimum of 1 year of experience in the returns department within the retail industry and a Grade 12/Matric certificate, you will play a crucial role in handling the process of receiving, inspecting, and processing returned items into our warehouse.

**Responsibilities**
- Receive, inspect, and sort the returned items or goods according to the company’s policies and procedures.
- Record, document and report the details and reasons of the returns, such as quantity, quality, condition, defects, damages, etc.
- Communicate and coordinate with the customers or clients, suppliers, vendors, warehouse staff, and other departments to resolve any issues or queries related to the returns.
- Process the returns according to the company’s guidelines and standards, such as issuing refunds, exchanges, credits, replacements, repairs, etc.
- Ensure the proper storage, handling, and disposal of the returned items or goods, following the health and safety, environmental, and legal regulations.
- Monitor and maintain the inventory of returns and stock levels, using the appropriate systems and tools.
- Analyse and evaluate the data and trends of the returns and provide feedback and recommendations to improve customer satisfaction, quality control, and operational efficiency.

Skills and Requirements:

- Basic understanding of warehouse practices and procedures.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and MS Excel for data analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Reliability and dependability in the handling of valuable and sensitive returned items.
- Must have Matric (Garde 12) or Equivalent NQF

*Minimum of 1 year of experience in returns department preferably in the reurns department retail industry

**Salary**: R5,000.00 per month
