Portfolio Manager Assistant

FMS Property Managers currently manages 80 sectional title schemes and homeowner associations. As we are a Western Cape based Company, our focus is primarily on the Western Cape region, stretching from the CBD to the Overberg.

We are currently seeking a **Portfolio Manager Assistant** to support the Senior Operations Manager and Portfolio Managers in the effective running of all administrative tasks.
**Duties for this position include, but are not limited to the following**:
- Managing all finance related administration, e.g, budgets are saved correctly on the google drive, requests are handled timeously, ensuring queries are sent to the relevant financial controller, distribution of monthly management accounts to our clients, all stationary charges updated per scheme and sending reports
- Ensure that the Senior Operation Manager is kept informed regarding all relevant matters.
- Ensure that buildings systems are understood
- Manage all new building handover administration.
- Compiling all necessary document requirements for trustees and annual general meetings for the portfolio managers
- Diary management and scheduling for the Senior Operations Manager
- Managing all CSOS submissions
- Ensuring that all payments are loaded on our online management system.
- Ensure that portfolio managers have uploaded all recurring payments
**Requirements**:
**Qualification**:
- Matric
- Completed Tertiary degree as advantage
**Experience and knowledge**:
- At least 2 - 3 years experience in an administrative role
- Experience in and knowledge of sectional title and property management (an advantage)
- Solid knowledge of administrative systems
- Knowledge of the Sectional Title Management Act

Specific Requirements:
- Clear health record

- Own transport
- Written employment references preferable
We offer Barista produced coffee available all day to all our staff at Claremont.
Normal working hours are Mondays to Fridays from 08h00 until 17h00 with a 45 minute lunch break. The company allows employees, by approval of the direct manager, to work flexi time between 07h00 and 18h00.
Faircape also offers the opportunity for staff to work core hours. Core hours are set times when an employee agrees to be in the office. The remainder of the work hours are flexible and can be worked remotely.
With centrally located and modern offices just across from Cavendish in Claremont, Faircape offers a market-related salary from R 23 000 - R 25 000 Cost to Company per month.
