Description of who we are looking for:
- The **office manager's role** in a law firm is to manage the day-to-day operations of the law firm.
- This includes managing administrative staff, scheduling appointments, and managing filing systems. The office manager is responsible for ensuring that the office runs smoothly and efficiently.
- They must ensure that the law firm is adequately supplied, and equipment and maintained.
- The office manager must have excellent communication skills to manage staff and clients. They must be able to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
We are not just looking for anybody, this person must be able to take **authority** when needed from them and run a very strict program with their staff members.
**The Role**:
**Office Manager**:
- MANCO meeting prep, including Management reports, minutes, agenda, and running the meeting efficiently.
- Completing tasks as allocated following the meeting. Report on office management issues at the board level.
- Maintaining insurance register and review of the policy annually
- Supplier negotiations and management
- Support staff management, resource allocation, and facilities to align with the needs of the firm and with a budget.
- Systems and facilities review to ensure they cater to the strategic plans of the firm
- Monitoring inventory and placing orders for resupply.
- Ensuring our practice complies with industry regulations, including FICA, POPI, Fidelity Fund Certificates, LPC requirements, and PMT
- Interacting with clients and addressing any concerns or complaints.
**HR**:
- Arrange photographers and edit bios for website inclusion.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
- Report on HR issues and recruitment plans at board level.
- Training and staff development
- Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- KPI development, performance management and rewards, career development plans
- Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
- Keeping staff in the loop re new policies, procedures, and industry news
- Staff meetings with internal support and professional staff and remote consultants
**Salary**: R25,000.00 - R40,000.00 per month
