**Job Purpose**
- To lead and manage the Management Reporting and Planning function, through the effective delivery of precise and accurate management information and reporting to end users and stakeholders combined with accurate and planning data. Continually strive towards improvement in reporting standards through effective aggregation / utilization and consumption of data. The capability to provide an understanding of the financial performance of a business whilst correlating the performance to underlying drivers. To be a service provider to the front-end business units who operate on SAP, with a key objective being to provide efficient support and guidance to those businesses. Enable and develop collaborative relationships across the various support functions to enable collaborative and integrated solutions are developed.**Responsibilities**:

- Delivery of accurate and timeous management information - the primary party responsible for all reporting delivered to the business, ensuring absolute precision and accuracy of all data reported. Responsible for all BU packs, BU financials and detailed financial analytics.
- Responsible for the management and execution of all financial planning. This includes the delivery of Daily P&L, rolling forecasts, various intra-year forecasts (Q2 / Q3 / Q4) as well as the execution and management of the 3-year planning financial process.
- Manage the relationship with BU front line management alongside Financial Business Partners - responsible for the day to day management of relationships and engagement with BU’s, dealing with queries, providing analysis, execution of adhoc analytics.
- Responsible for the maintenance / development and execution of all SAP FI management accounting capability and functions including - capital allocation / transfer pricing models / cost of funding allocation principles and models / organisational structures
- Data Management - in collaboration across the business to develop and enhance the reporting capability to continually strive towards highest standards of accuracy / completeness and validity.
- Maintenance of control environment - the maintenance and enhancement of the control environment is a critical element and responsibility of the role with particular regard to organisational structure and master data.
- System ownership and management of SAP BPS - processes / month end - as the custodian of the SAP environment, the role is responsible for the management of all the SAP modules, to ensure that the system is effectively managed on a day to day basis and that month end processes are effectively executed within the prescribed timeframes.
- SAP Loans / SAP TSY / SAP GL / SAP BW enhancement and development - participant and stakeholder in all SAP enhancements and the integration across all SAP modules, through collaboration with various stakeholders across the business. Including the introduction and development of new capability, new functionality or enhancements within SAP.
- SAP BW / SAP business objects - reporting - an effective business partner in the design and development of the reporting capability to consumers of regulatory and statutory information.
- Integration and migration - assist in the furtherance of SAP across other areas and business units within Nedbank to leverage off strategic investment in the system. Including identifying and assisting possible migrations and integration.
- Master data Management - effective management of all systems master data within SAP including inter alia ledger / product / profit centre / relationship data in so far as it relates to reporting.
- Responsible for the delivery of client information and analytics to Cluster whilst maintaining the profitability models in SAP BPS.
- Process improvement and automation - continued refinement and automation of SAP and non-SAP processes to achieve greater efficiency and improved execution of reporting functions.
- Collaboration across multiple disciplines - critical skill includes the ability to engage and develop relationships with Deal Operations / Middle office / Credit Risk teams through having a detailed knowledge and understanding of their responsibilities and the impact thereof on financial processes.
- Essential Qualifications- Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
- Preferred Qualification- CA (SA) / BCom Hons
- Preferred Certifications- SAP BPS
- Minimum Experience Level- A minimum level of 10 years experience, knowledge and understanding of Investment Banking and Property Finance products / transactions and operational processes are a necessary skill in order to provide the required service to the front-end business. In-depth knowledge is required of the key drivers of financial performance are a necessity and the capability to evaluate and translate these KPI’s into credible and accurate forecasts and plans.
