**Job Advert Summary**:
An exciting opportunity for a Head of Department exists in our Client Services Department.

To ensure effective management of resources within the company in order to achieve contracted service levels and deliver exceptional levels of customer satisfaction.

Applications are invited for the above-mentioned position, to be filled as soon as possible.

**Minimum Requirements**:
**Qualifications & Experience**
- Grade 12
- 3-year Tertiary Qualification in any related field.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a Client Services environment
- At least 2 years’ general leadership experience.
- Planning and organising skills.
- Analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written communication).
- Computer literacy (MS Office and Medical Administration system and Data warehouse).
- The ability to use data collection techniques and methods for analysing, identifying trends, and reporting on data.
- Knowledge of the Medical Scheme industry.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Builds enduring rewarding customer relationships and ensures that a customer focus is the rationale behind all business activities.
- Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development.
- Managing process and people to meet strategic objectives.
- Demonstrates awareness of industry trends and opportunities and keeps up to date with competitor developments impacting area of responsibility.
- Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
- Ensuring agreed service levels are adhered to and delivery to clients is exceeded through excellent service.
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.
- Have proven and demonstrable leadership and management abilities.
- The ability to understand financial and economic concepts/drivers; to identify, create and/or exploit opportunities.
- Understands and monitors the market, competitors, trends, key business drivers and metrics and makes effective decisions to drive profitability, service excellence and sustainability.
- Be able to diagnose problems quickly and have foresight into potential issues.
- Behave in alignment with PPSHA values.
- Shares information and own expertise with others to enable them to accomplish group goals.
- Creates an atmosphere in which timely and high-quality information flows smoothly up and down, inside, and outside of the organisation; encourages open expression of ideas and opinions.
