**PURPOSE OF THE JOB**:
To render quality logístical service to all internal and external stakeholders by ensuring that the entire Engineering Store function is operational as per the McCain standards.

**KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS**:

- Ensure receipt Goods are kept in the correct bin locations.
- Ensure that all stock that is issued is handled as per the agreed standard.
- Ensure that the stock records on the SAP system is maintained and accurate.
- Manage and control tool issue process and diesel or all diesel tanks onsite.
- Ensure that the reverse of unused items back to Inventory process is adhered to all the times.
- Create a new bin location and print labels for new stock items.
- Ensure works order policy is enforced when engineering personnel draw stock from stores.
- Create works order for consumables items, using the SAP T-code ZVNL.
- Ensure receipts of engineering spares/parts/tools are as per part number or descriptions.
- Perform weekly cycle counts on the physical spares.
- Conduct monthly stock take to ensure accuracy of spares.
- Ensure a proper Investigation of any spares variances.
- Identify and report on any stock that might be redundant/obsolete or damaged.
- Ensure receipt of goods in SAP accordingly whilst ensuring it matched the purchased order number, quantity, description, and price.
- Ensure the Purchase Order (PO) number is stated on delivery note/Invoice.
- Return the incorrect items to supplier.
- Ensure to check daily spares movement, rejected spares, issues and receipts.
- Ensure to release planned order & procument blocked items as when required.
- Ensure to load new items addition, modification & extension of spares on relevant system and make sure that decision making tree is adhered too.
- Ensure to perform financial year end stock count and auditing.
- Manage, control and order free text spares.
- Make sure to liase with procurement for spares overdue orders and when spares are required for breakdowns or urgent.
- Ensure to check Material Resource Planning (MRP) control process and liase with procurement to reject pr for unwanted spares.
- Ensure management and control of cost in engineering through localization of spares and overtime management.
- Ensure availability of spares to reduce downtime that can lead to costly or loss of products.
- Ensure spares issued are located to a correct cost centre.
- Ensure to record or make use of McCain global motor app on the tablet.
- Ensure to analyse spares issues, receipts, and obsolete cost daily, weekly, monthly, and annually.
- Ensure to report on top 4 suppliers, spares unavailability, spares optimization, diesel usage report monthly and annually.
- Manage subordinates of up to 4 employees.
- Ensure to reduce absenteeism by understanding employees’ issues.
- Maintenance availability improvement.
- Ensure step ladders, scaffolding, lifting equipment and lifting tackles inspections are carried out on time.
- Resolving and approval of finance queries on invoices using the WNS TRAC workflow.

**EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Valid forkilift driver’s licence
- Relevant Diploma in Supply Chain or in Engineering (Degree will be an added advantage).
