Logistics Manager

Logistics Manager:

- Reporting to the CEO
- Overseeing all duties and responsibilites for the cleaners, uniform supervisor and assistant.
- Responsible for the management of the logístical function in order to support day to day requirements of the CEO, Operational Managers, Line Managers and other various company departments.
- Assist management and inventory controllers on all logístical protocol.
- Provide administrative assistance to management and on National level.
- Responsible for the day to day issuing of all equipment for daily tasks.
- Responsible for purchasing, managing and distribution of all equipment and non-durable items.
- Ensure that the correct procedures are followed on procurement and that the suppliers are registered.
- Ordering of items
- Receiving equipment
- Checking of the delivery against the order that was placed.
- Sending invoice for paying to the right departments.
- Following the correct procedures when obtaining qoutes, purchasing of groceries and stationery for all sites, where applicable all durable items.
- Updating of the inventory on a regular basis.
- Inventory control
- Keep records to maintain inventory and cost control of all equipment and assure proper stock levels.
- Follows correct procedures when issuing, receiving and storing of weapons and ammunition.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Strand, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
