- Spearhead the develop and implement of a comprehensive intermediary distribution strategy aligned with the FNB Insure and Invest business objectives and market dynamics.
- Build and lead a team of intermediary distribution professionals, providing guidance, support, and coaching to maximize their performance and effectiveness.
- Identify and evaluate new opportunities for growth within the intermediary channel, including expansion into new markets and segments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key intermediary partners, serving as the primary point of contact and addressing any issues or concerns in a timely and effective manner.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product development, marketing, and operations teams, to ensure alignment and integration of intermediary distribution efforts with overall business goals.
- Develop a service culture which builds rewarding relationships, proposes innovations and allows others to provide exceptional client service.
- Establish, align and manage target and budget goals whilst ensuring effective control of costs for a range of functional areas to increase cost efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, market trends, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices in intermediary distribution, and incorporate relevant insights into strategy and operations.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in intermediary distribution, preferably in the financial services industry with a focus on life insurance and investments.
- Proven track record of success in developing and driving sales growth through intermediary channels, with a strong understanding of sales processes and techniques.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve goals and deliver results.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with the capacity to translate insights into actionable plans and initiatives.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Sound knowledge of the South African financial services market, regulatory environment, and industry trends.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
