Finance/ Property Bookkeeper

Due to expansion of our Property Portfolio, we are looking for an experienced Property Bookkeeper/ Accounts Administrator to join our fast-paced team.
- This role will focus on the day-to-day financial administration and bookkeeping aspects of small retail shopping centres, which includes but is not limited to the following;
- Working within the MDA Property Management system is essential.
- Providing Debtors and Creditors management including arrears.
- Concluding cashbooks, journals, and Bank Recons for monthly reporting to be generated.
- Budget control and variance reporting.
- Liaising with National Retailers and Local Tenants with respect to rental and utility management.
- Prebilling and Billing runs for Tenants within the portfolio, including recoveries and utilities.
- Capturing new leases and vacating old leases at expiry.
- Loading of invoices for payment.
- Regular reporting into Directors and Portfolio Management.
- Calculation and billing of lease commission and management invoices to various Landlords
- Cashflow management
As a minimum, you will be required to experience with the MDA/MRI Property Management software, excellent business acumen and knowledge of Excel. A strong level of attention to detail and the ability to work independently and within a team.
Experience: At least 3 years in the property accounting environment is required.

- Durban, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
