In this role, you'll utilize your expertise to drive profitability, foster customer relationships, and contribute to our company's financial success.

As a Commercial Manager, you will be at the forefront of our Net Revenue Management efforts, working closely with cross-functional teams to optimize net sales and gross margin while ensuring product and channel profitability.
This critical role will be based at our National Office in **Westville** and report to the Commercial Executive.
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
**NRM**
You will coordinate and drive Net Revenue Management across all levers in RCL Foods. This will include designing and deploying NRM training, toolkits, and scorecards.
**Customer Pricing/Promotion Support**
You'll be the go-to source for pricing support. Your insights will help us achieve our product and channel profitability goals, and you'll play a vital role in driving commercial conversations with our valued customers. To optimise promotions you will Identify ROI maximisation opportunities across channels and categories.
**Profitability & Sales Data Analysis**
Your knack for turning raw data into actionable insights will shine as you provide in-depth sales and profitability information. You'll collaborate with the Growth Team offering your expertise on system tools and responding to queries regarding profitability trends and sales data analysis.
**Reporting**
Your contributions to enhanced customer and product profitability reporting will unlock opportunities for margin improvement. You'll identify avenues for value-added reporting to elevate the quality of our insights and influence decision-making. Analyzing trends and concerns will be your forte, ensuring we optimize profitability effectively.
**Commercial Insight and Technical Expertise**
Your analytical prowess will be put to the test as you provide calculations, detailed analysis, and recommendations driven by changes in business operations or economic climates. You'll also be the resident expert in management meetings, lending your insights to internal clients and colleagues. Your practical commercial expertise will extend to external clients during regular engagement and ad hoc requests.
**Minimum Requirements**:
**Qualification**
BCom (Hons) / CIMA or Qualified CA (SA)
**Skills and Experience**
5 years’ experience (articled or otherwise), including exposure to FMCG environments
Net Revenue Management experience
Proven experience in roles related to pricing, profitability analysis, or sales data analysis
Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
A strategic mindset with a knack for problem-solving
Proficiency in data analysis tools and software
Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
