Mukuru is on the lookout for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team in Cape Town.

The main purpose of this role is to provide depth of experience and expertise in digital marketing for Mukuru.

The Digital Marketing Specialist reports directly to the Digital Marketing Manager. This role is responsible for the execution of the digital marketing strategy and the effective execution and management of digital marketing campaigns. The digital marketing specialist will need to evaluate all incoming campaigns and work with our agencies and internal teams to construct a full 360 digital marketing plan for the campaign. He/she would need to ensure that he/she has considered all digital touchpoints and draws up an execution plan that ensures the success of the campaign.

This person will be working alongside our ATL marketing team, liaising with them to understand any digital marketing briefs received and communicate with agencies, partners, and creative teams for execution of the briefs received.

**Duties and Responsibilities (Include but is not limited to)**:

- Work alongside marketing team, product teams, and senior stakeholders within the organisation to best understand campaign briefs and the objectives thereof
- Strategise around the best way to put the campaign into action and the various touchpoints that the campaign will have with the customer
- Carry out market research using tools including but not limited to:Google Analytics

Google Keyword planner
Power BI (internal business insights tool)
Ads Managers
Ads library
Apps Flyer/Adjust
- Use the insights gathered from these platforms to better understand the target audience, the platforms these users are most likely to engage with, and the media sources that will best help promote the campaign for the lowest cost per result
- Design 360 digital marketing plans for campaigns. Liaise with the specialists below to understand the capabilities, limitations, and best practices for campaign implementation:Social media specialist

Traditional marketing campaign managers including Brand, PR, CSI and CX teams
External agencies including; media, web development, creative
- Ensure that you have considered all digital marketing channels for the best customer experience and campaign performance
- Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests.
- Design and manage paid and organic search strategies, including SEO
- Drive coordination and integration of digital marketing content through a digital marketing schedule and calendar that aligns to the broader marketing schedule
- Work with campaign coordinator and traditional marketing campaign managers to brief in campaign elements including but not limited to:Creative elements

Paid media plan
Website landing pages
Search engine optimisation elements (meta data, written copy, and other on-page elements)
Affiliate marketing
- Collaborate with and direct agencies and internal parties in a timely manner, ensuring that campaign start, and end dates are actioned according to the campaign brief
- Manage stakeholders for the implementation of campaign elements
- Real-time campaign tracking. Ensuring that campaigns are tracked throughout, allowing for the optimisation of campaigns throughout the campaign period
- Maximise limited digital marketing budget to create maximum impact
- Utilise strong analytical ability to evaluate and report on end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
- Track the performance of digital marketing campaigns to ensure that campaigns are measuring up against industry standards, benchmarks, and campaign objectives
- Provide post campaign performance reports and insights, evaluating what was done for the campaign, what learnings were gained, and how learnings can be applied for future campaigns
- Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
- Assist Digital Marketing Manager with the assessment and implementation of new tools and technologies where an opportunity has been identified

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R30,000.00 - R40,000.00 per month
