Then keep reading - we may have just the right job for you Clinical Development Centre (CDC) South Africa is expanding and is looking for a Feasibility Specialist.

**The position**

This Feasibility Specialist role has the responsibility for conducting clinical trial feasibility in South Africa affiliate with key investigators at an individual site level on a trial-by-trial basis.

In this role you will be leading and providing input to CDC management on the patient allocation in affiliate in close cooperation with Affiliate Clinical Research Managers and medical team, as well as leading cross-functional review and input on trial portfolio updates.

Your main job tasks will be:

- Obtaining internal feedback and data to support feasibility assessments on site/country levels
- Building and maintaining sound knowledge of local patient treatment pathways, competitor trials and the clinical research environment for new and established therapy areas
- Leading site identification process, ensuring involvement of relevant internal stakeholders
- Development of new sites, including required KOL involvement in cooperation with Clinical Medical Manager

- Therapeutic knowledge as applicable demonstrated understanding of diseases and treatments
- Ability to gather and make sense of information that suggests new possibilities
- Ability to communicate with impact and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders at different levels in the organization
- Strong ability to drive results

**About the department**

Working with the clinical trial team in South Africa and collaborating across SEEMEA and International Operations, you will join an expanding dedicated local team of Clinical professionals on a mission to create better treatments and care for patients with Diabetes, Obesity, Rare Disease and the new therapeutic areas (Cardiovascular Diseases, Alzheimer’s Disease, NASH, Sickle Cell Disease) that Novo Nordisk is investing in.

You will be reporting to a Clinical Research Manager heading up a Start Up and CTAs team. Your wider team also includes CRAs, Trial Managers, and Clinical Quality & Training Managers.
