**Digital Marketing Specialist**

**Company**

One of the largest private Medical Aid companies in SA. They have been established for 20 years and are striving to be #1 in SA.

**Purpose**

Responsible for the implementation and execution of all digital marketing strategies in line with the over-arching Marketing and the company’s business strategies. Implement and take joint accountability for the best practice framework of the Digital Marketing function through existing and new platforms with the overall goal of growing the membership of the organisation in the correct target segments. Continuous research and monitor the performance and impact of digital marketing campaigns and assets, identifying areas for improvement.

**Responsibilities**

**Search Engine Marketing (SEM)**

Design, execute and provide feedback on all SEM initiatives in order to generate leads, awareness and engagement optimally with the Company brand.
- Monitor and guide Search and Display campaigns in line with the Digital and Marketing strategies to ensure optimal conversion in terms of leads generation and target audience.
- Manage overall budget allocated to Search and Display effectively and responsibly so that cost per lead provides a return on investment (ROI).
- Provide reporting and insights to Senior Management regarding all Search and Display campaigns and strategies on a monthly basis and monitor any agencies that are involved.
- Ensure strict POPIA regulations are maintained and that the database is maintained securely.

**Website Management**

Oversee the maintenance of the Company’s website, ensuring that it performs optimally at all times. Ensure that website updates are implemented timeously and research better and more efficient ways to streamline the navigation and functionality.

**Lead Generation**

Evaluate and monitor the leads generated including improvements to the website and other digital platforms to ensure optimal conversion.

**SEO Management**

Monitor and oversee SEO initiatives of the Scheme and ensure that the website maintains optimal functionality at all times in terms of content and SEO. Oversee generation of native content and ensure that best practice SEO principles apply.
- Identify and provide insight into the website and webpages on search engines (primarily Google) and provide input how these can be optimised through the use of SEO tools.
- Ensure organic traffic meets the goals set out in the Digital Marketing Strategy.
- Monitor and oversee User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UI) initiatives with the end user in mind and recommend improvements where necessary.
- Ensure top of mind awareness by providing fresh and informative insights through the blog and associated keywords.

**Social Media Management**

Oversee all marketing performance and community activity feedback via the designated social media platforms.
- Propose and manage a social media plan and budget for each of the social media platforms approved in the digital marketing strategy
- Implement and execute campaigns and content as per the approved digital marketing strategy in order to grow the communities and drive traffic to the website.
- Monitoring, evaluation and reporting on social media platform content and engagement
- Manage feedback via social media platforms, allocate to internal departments, ensure feedback to client and ensure utmost professionalism

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 3 years experience in a Digital Marketing role
- Functional knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
- Functional knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS) and Website Management
- Functional knowledge of Social Media Management tools (e.g. Hootsuite), and Community Management
- Functional Knowledge of Paid Media and budget management
- Understanding of Google platforms (Google Ads, Google Analytics, Search Console, Google Business)
- Diploma / Degree in Digital Marketing or Marketing or equivalent
- Grade 12 with Mathematics or Maths Literacy (Mathematics on a symbol E or higher. Maths Literacy on a symbol C or higher)
