**Laser Cutter Machine Operator**

**Purpose of Job**:

- To operate a Fiber laser cutting machine.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
1. Operating machines with computer controls that cut metal materials.

2. Select proper cutting programs and proper fixtures.

3. Establish proper stop location and adjust the laser beam focal point.

4. Perform all dimensional inspections.

5. Meet established production standards.

6. Perform minor maintenance on machines and equipment including lubrication, cleaning, adjustments, and minor maintenance checks.

7. Exercise safe working habits while operating machines.

8. Assisting in general workshop duties as required.

**The Following Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge, and Experience will be required**:
u Grade 12 and Qualification in the Machine Operation/ related qualification.

u 2 years of proven work experience Operating laser cutting machine.

u Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings and cutting lists.

u Good Understand industry quality requirements.

u Computer Literacy.

**Personal Attributes**

u Attention to fine detail is very crucial.

u Technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities.
