**POSITION: Operations Manager (Logistics & Project Operations)**

**LOCATION: Komatipoort, Mpumalanga**

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

- Matric
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Logistics/ related qualification
- Minimum 5 - 8 years' experience in supervision / management positions in logistics business
- Computer proficient on MS Programmes & **CargoWise**
- Experience with Container, Bulk and Break bulk logistics/ shipping (advantageous)
- Understanding of new infrastructure/civil project management and regulatory issues
- Knowledge of Customs Clearing, duties and VAT & Knowledge of INCOTERMS
- Management experience with: Financials, Transport, Operations, Sales, Customer Care, Warehousing and Distribution and Stock Control
- Able to supervise material and equipment related distribution procedures within a warehouse environment
- Complies with QHSE, controls inventory and maintain the physical condition of the warehouse
- Experience with safeguarding the warehouse operations / contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols
- Detail oriented, well organised, disciplined and systematic to produce results & achieve deadlines
- Able to work well within a team
- Valid driver’s licence (no endorsements)
- Own reliable vehicle
- In accordance with the POPI Act 4 of 2013_:
Ability to commute/relocate:

- Komatipoort, Mpumalanga: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelors (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Management & supervision: 5 years (required)

License/Certification:

- SA Drivers licence (required)
