Veterinary Receptionist

**What you'll be doing**:
Helping clients and colleagues as soon as possible by answering calls and managing the switchboard.

Helping clients make appointments and getting the right food and medicine for their pets.

Getting the right messages to the Veterinarians so that have all the necessary information.

Coordinating appointments and procedures so that everyone is in the right place at the right time.

Keep communication going and clear between clients and Veterinarians.

Updating our systems and records so that we know where everything is and can easily find important information.

Process over-the-counter sales of food, toys, and other pet care items.

**What it will take**:
You have at least 1-year experience as a receptionist in a busy medical or veterinary environment.
- You know veterinary products.
- Your computer skills are excellent.
- You're not afraid of learning new systems.
- You are obsessed with doing things right and thoroughly.
- You thrive in a team.
- You have fantastic communication skills and manners.
- You are resilient and work well under pressure - yes, it can get tough.
- You work patiently and empathetically with concerned or anxious clients
- You have great organisational and prioritisation skills
- You have a sixth sense when it comes to anticipating others' needs.

Working Hours: Mondays to Fridays (alternate shifts 07:00 - 13:00 or 13:00 - 19:00, every 3rd Saturday 08:00-17:00)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R7,500.00 - R8,600.00 per month

COVID-19 considerations:
To keep our Receptionist safe, we have installed plastic screens and placed markers on the floor so that clients remain at a safe distance as far as humanly possibly. We also provide masks, sanitiser and strict protocols for visiting clients.
