Purpose of the Job:
Safe and OTIF execution of all planned, corrective maintenance work in designated zone.

Safety, Food Safety & Sustainability
- Executes all planned (preventive) jobs safely and OTIF.
- Executes planned, corrective, legal, food safety related maintenance tasks safely and OTIF

Quality
- Executes all planned (preventive) jobs OTIF and with the required quality.

Work processes
- Able to identify deviations and non-conforming items on instrumentation, control loops and related electrical equipment
- Instrumentation hardware knowledge of flow measurement, temperature, pressure, load cell mass levels and weighing equipment
- Diagnoses and interprets multi-disciplinary problems (fault finding) to optimise production output and carries out the plant repairs.
- Ensures that service levels are maintained at the required standards by carrying out all corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance effectively.
- Support maintenance for area of responsibility
- Assist in and support all projects from an instrumentation, control and electrical perspective that are running in respective area
- Basic control loop checks and verification, PLC faultfinding - Siemens S7 and TIA
- Conduct calibration and verification for all instrumentation, issue internal calibration certificates.
- Continues and follows up on breakdown analysis.

Organization, Interfaces & people management
- Reports to the automation specialists, planned maintenance team lead, installation controllers and maintenance engineers
- Communicates and cooperates with operations and shift technicians before, during and after execution.
- Communicates with the planning & preparation team.

TPM & Continuous Improvement
- Supports on management of maintenance plans, asset master data, and asset performance
- Participates in RCFA (5 why) or organized for his/her team to participate, including training/mentoring and implementing Continuous improvements
- Supports operators in attacking MTBA

Information & Data Management
- Daily collects required maintenance information and data from designated zone.
- Reports on planned maintenance work (technical and administrative reporting). Including but not limited to downtime reports, job card closure, spares usage.
- Document data for new equipment
- Issue and accept work permit when working with contractors
- Minimum N6 Electrical Engineering
- Trade Test (Instrumentation/ Electrical, Instrumentation preferred)
- Minimum 2 years’ post-trade experience in an automated FMCG production environment
- Basic PLC exposure (Siemens preferred)
- Previous experience obtained in a bottling or beverage manufacturing environment is preferred
