Veterinary Receptionist

Situated in the leafy Southern Suburbs of Cape Town, Steenberg Vet is a well-established and busy practice seeking an animal-loving, experienced veterinary receptionist to join our team.

This role will suite a compassionate, confident and knowledgeable individual who can work well in a fast-paced and busy environment and as part of a team.

Working hours are 13:00 - 19:00 Monday to Friday, every second Saturday and one Sunday in 4. Public holidays are worked in rotation with the other receptionists. Some flexibility is required to assist with covering leave, sick days, etc.

**Requirements**:

- Previous veterinary reception or vet shop experience
- Hills VNA 1 and 2
- Be prepared to work some weekends and public holidays
- Flexibility to work extra hours if needed
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to cope in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational skills and ability to multi-task
- Ability to work using own initiative
- Team player
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
- Knowledge of Microvet will be advantageous
- Reside locally and ideally have own, reliable transport.

This position is available immediately. Salary based on experience.
