**Duties**
- Ensure efficient IT LAN infrastructure is maintained.
- Ensure that networked printers, routers, PC’s, and desktop configurations are optimal and functional.
- Installing / moving / adding / changing, PC’s/ laptop, software, networking routers, devices and printers.
- Installation, maintenance and configuration of antivirus software and other software as required.
- Keeping of records and updating filing systems.
- Prompt and efficient support via ticketing system.
- Travel to business units to offer support.
- Setting up of new User Hardware and installation of software
- Remote and onsite user support at various clients
- Ensure that IT housekeeping at all the company's sites and in the IT Warehouse meet company standards
- Prepare new / Repair faulty equipment, control deployment and installation on company sites
- Investigate and resolve problems logged regarding software and hardware failure

**Requirements**:

- Matric Certificate
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification an advantage
- Relevant IT related certification (A+, N+)
- Minimum 1 - 2 years’ related working experience
- Code 8 Driver’s License
- Excellent communication skills

**Skills**
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
- Excellent Team Player
- Ability to work without supervision
- Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles

**Preference will be given to Employment Equity target groups, including people with disabilities.**
