**Position: Experienced Bookkeeper**

**Location: Edenvale, South Africa**

An established printing company based in Edenvale is actively seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join their dynamic finance team.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- **Reconciliation of Bank Accounts**: Thoroughly reconcile and audit company bank accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- **Prepare and Maintain Financial Reports**: Generate comprehensive financial reports to provide insights into the company's financial health.
- **Month-End and Year-End Close Processes**: Execute month-end and year-end closing procedures efficiently and within established timelines.
- **Manage Client Accounts**: Oversee and maintain accurate records of client accounts, ensuring transparency and adherence to financial policies.
- **Tax/VAT Preparation**: Assist in the preparation and submission of tax and VAT returns, staying abreast of regulatory requirements.

**Qualifications**:

- **Proven Work Experience**: A minimum of 5 years' demonstrated success in bookkeeping roles, showcasing a solid understanding of financial principles.
- **Proficiency in MS Excel**: Strong command of MS Excel to handle complex financial data and perform in-depth analysis.
- **Experience with Sage Pastel**: Familiarity and proficiency with Sage Pastel accounting software, demonstrating the ability to navigate and utilize its features effectively.
- **Experience with high book values**:Experience with book value of at least 4 Million Rand per month
