Our client, a large and successful material handling organisation is seeking to employ a Skills Development Facilitator to join the fast-growing team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and facilitate workshops using tested and proven methodologies.
- Offer analysis, recommendations, and relationship management with cross-functional teams.
- Directly partner with executive leaders to offer strategic direction as well as to advance design and production capabilities.
- Translate business and communication objectives into session scope and facilitate leadership discussions to lead to a desired outcome.
- Co-ordinate and compile the annual Workplace Skills Plan and Annual Training Report in line with MERSETA and BBBEE Strategic requirements.
- Be the element owner of Skills Development for the full BBBEE verification including Training Interventions, Learnerships, Bursaries, Apprentices etc.
- Assist and give advice to line management with the implementation of the annual Workplace Skills Plan.
- Develop, customise and review existing and new training and development programs, initiatives and designs to support the Talent Strategy.
- Source, evaluate & facilitate the use of external service providers as required, whilst creating & maintaining a vendor database.
- Implementation of accredited training initiatives according to B-BBEE, EE and Seta initiatives.
- Workplace Skills Plan and Submission hereof to the relevant Seta
- Advising on quality assurance requirements as set out by the relevant Seta.
- Manage skills development and business initiatives in accordance with legislation (SDA, SDLA, B-BBEE, SAQA, INSETA) and business requirements in order to support the achievement of the business’ skills development goals.
- Facilitate the vendor management and accreditation process for service providers and internal training programmes.
- Analyse the National Skills Development Strategy (NSDS) and INSETA sector skills plan (SSP) and collaborate with the HR teams to develop plans that address the requirements of the NSDS and SSP.
- Evaluate organisational readiness for learnership, internships and skills programmes or develop plans to advocate them in the business to increase readiness.
- Build, manage and maintain relationships with members of associations such as INSETA, service providers and other stakeholders.
- Performing monthly Tracking/Reporting of training spend against budget.
- Identify solutions to enhance cost effectiveness and increase operational efficiency.

**Must have requirements**:

- Degree or equivalent qualification in Learning and Development or related field
- SDF Certification (Essential)
- OD-ETDP (Occupationally Directed Education Training Development Practice) level 5 certification
- 3-5 years learning and development experience with a focus on working with relevant Skills Development legislation (e.g. SDA, SDLA, Employment Equity Act; EE and B-BBEE, Labour Relations Act and SAQA Act).
- Exposure to Skills Development strategies (e.g., learnerships, skills programmes, ETQA, skills levies and INSETA functions)
- Ability to artfully stimulate and culturalise design thinking, human centred design, and innovation mindsets and behaviours.
- Expansive knowledge of business acumen and the role our communication objectives play in achieving business outcomes.
