Are you a detail-oriented professional with a wealth of experience in financial management? Do you excel in overseeing accounting operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting? **Responsibilities**:
- Oversee all accounting operations including Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements to provide insight into the company's financial performance.
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Research technical accounting issues and implement solutions to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Support the month-end and year-end close process to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting to maintain data integrity.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting/finance roles.
- CA certification preferred.
- Excellent proficiency in accounting software usage and administration.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Experience overseeing all functions of a finance department
**Salary: R36,000- R40,000**
You would be required to work at our offices in Woodmead, Sandton and you would be **required to work American hours (2pm - 11pm). It is important to note that this is not a work from home position.**
