Our client is looking for a Debt Counsellor to join their team.

A target driven, self-motivated person looking to be part of a growing organization, this could be your next role. We are looking for qualified Debt Counsellors that are passionate with helping consumers lead a financially healthy lifestyle.

**Responsibilities**:

- Build and maintain strategic partnerships
- Cold call over
- indebted prospective clients
- Liaise and educate clients on financial wellbeing
- Oversee the entire Debt review process from Form 16 to Form 17.1 stage
- Work independently in a call centre environment
- Correspond and liaise between clients and the New Business department and Legal department
- Proactively seek new clients / business opportunities Operate within the call centre environment Required Qualifications & Experience
- Matric / Grade 12
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel and Outlook
- Post matric 3-year business related qualification (e.g.Marketing National Diploma or Degree) would be an advantage
- 2+ years’ working experience in Debt Review

**Skills**
- Target driven (related to new business)
- Ability to build and nurture business relationships (with corporate partners and clients)
- Strong Sales Ability
- Active listening skills with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in English and at least one local official South Afrikan language
- Attention to detail
- Proactive
- Analytical and problem solving skills

**Qualifications**:

- High School (matric)
- 2 years of Sales and Debt Counselling experience
- Debt Counselling Certificate

**Experience**:

- Debt Counselling and Sales: 2 years (required)

License/Certification:

- National Credit Regulator (NCR) certification (required)
