Your main objective is to plan and execute a balanced showroom & stores contribution plan in order to maximise sales and profit. The showroom planner would be responsible for accurate allocations of products to stores, controlling and managing replenishment programmes, store stock transfers as well as compiling reports for analytic purposes.

**What you will love doing in this role**
- Understand and monitor current trade in order to initiate action to increase sales
- In-season trading and store analysis of sales and inventory levels to ensure stock outs are avoided and sales opportunities are capitalized on
- Regular store visits to understand customer demand
- Quarterly analysis:

- Store performance to reassess store grading and to determine accurate product mix going forward by store
- To analyze past seasons' performance by category and product level to determine the strategy going forward based on the data and SWOT analysis
- Develop a pre-season plan across key KPI’s, in line with the merchandise plan and strategy
- Support the merchandise and operations teams in ensuring all budgets across key KPI’s are met
- Collaborate and build strong relationships with key stakeholders:

- Merchandise planners and buyers to provide a product assortment solution specific to each store grade and to capitalize on any store opportunities
- Warehouse teams to ensure that the stock is allocated appropriately and timeously to avoid out-of-stock situations
- Marketing to align products and sales plans with marketing spends and activities
- Showroom visual merchandising team to ensure the product is well-displayed
- Regular presentations to the business on weekly; monthly and quarterly performance

**What you'll need to do this role**
- A relevant tertiary qualification ie Diploma/Degree.
- 2 - 3 years experience in a similar role in a retail environment.
- Excels at data analysis and the ability to draw inferences
- A high degree of numeracy and a detailed and strategic approach to work
