**Parts Pricing Specialist**
**Department : Parts and Business Support (BP64330)**

**Job Overview**

UD Trucks is known for our pioneering technologies and products within the commercial automotive industry. Parts price maintenance and dealer pricing support combined with parts price basket maintenance and sales opportunity identification. Dealer support with incentive programs and promotional assistance and financial controls.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Price maintenance
- Price competitive monitoring
- Incentives & Promotion control
- Financial controls & monitoring
- Populate the parts baskets per model with competitor OEM and alternative prices and compare the UD price positioning per part number.
- Constantly update prices with the support of market intelligence gained from the dealer network to establish a market benchmark.
- Based on the gathered information from the parts baskets initiate negotiations with Japan, Singapore, and India to address pricing imbalance.
- Reverse engineer competitive market prices to calculate a required FOB price including volume calculation that would indicate quantity of sales equal to price reduction.
- Evaluate dealer request including mandatory information supplied by the dealer to establish validity of the request
- Calculate the financial impact of the request and prepare a proposal for submission if considered to have a positive impact into the future.
- Receive annual part price increase file in time to work through the complete file to ensure all future prices are in line with profitability expectations.
- When new part numbers are loaded and created on VIPS set and load prices for new numbers on the system

**Minimum qualifications**
Bachelor degree advantageous
Minimum 2 years aftersales experience
Minimum 3-5 years parts pricing experience

Basic Financial understanding
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to allow effective interaction with all levels of the organization and dealer network
Ability to work independently, work under pressure of deadlines, handle multiple priorities and pay close attention to detail
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint
Excellent analytical and numerical skills
Basic knowledge on parts and various parts components
Self motivated and driven personality
