You will be working as Panel Assembler, and will be part of Electrification business area for Distribution Solutions division based in Modderfontein; South Africa. You will be reporting to Production Supervisor and will be responsible for performing mechanical fitting and assembly on the various ranges of Unigear Switchgear.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Achieving daily as well as weekly targets which are set by the supervisor
- Ensuring all mechanical assemblies conform to requirements
- Maintaining a high standard of quality in the production process
- Maintaining the SHEQ within the department
- Maintaining a close liaison with supervisor and fellow colleagues

**Your background**:

- N3 in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in fitting or assembly
- Experience on assembly of Unigear Switchgear will be and advantage. Able to read and understand mechanical and general arrangement drawings and single line diagrams
- Willing to work in nightshift. Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Be well organized, able to work under pressure and to use own initiative
