Winetasting Ambassador

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage incoming phone calls and direct guest inquiries.
- Conduct wine tastings and manage the tasting room.
- Oversee stock control and sales recon.
- Ensure operational procedures support excellent service delivery.
- Coordinate wine club activities and online sales.
- Host VIP tours, special events, and trade visits.

**Requirements**:

- Personal transport.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- At least five years of relevant experience in the wine industry.
- Proficiency in both Afrikaans and English.
- Computer literacy.

Compensation:

- Basic salary of R7500.
- Commission of 10% on all sales including alcohol, deli products and food.

Responsibilities include welcoming and engaging with guests, delivering well-informed and professionally conducted wine tastings, promoting, and selling wines directly, managing stock, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the tasting area. The role also involves collaborating with team members to manage busy periods effectively, adhering to tasting room policies, and assisting with the organization and execution of special events and private tastings.

Pay: R7 500,00 - R20 000,00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Paarl, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
