Join us for the management role of **General Manager Sales** responsible for our automotive manufacturing plant.
**Job Description**:
- Responsible for Bosch, and contract partner’s automotive product sales to the South African vehicle manufacturers (OEMs) and Tier suppliers
- Responsible for all financial aspects of sales including pricing for Automotive and non-Automotive products.
- Defining and implementing company’s short
- & long-term sales strategies to ensure future success and sustainability.
- Manage customer communication and relationship activities.
- Manage Key Account Managers (KAMs) and Sales Commercial and Pricing Managers (SCPs).
- Define acquisition targets based on product type and local OEM volume planning ensuring profitable growth.
- Measure and report acquisition against targets.
- Measure and report actual sales versus business plan.
- Product costing based on material cost (raw material, processing cost, local and imported components, exchange rates), overheads, logistics, SG & A, profit and incentives from the automotive APDP.
- Customer quotations and contractual agreements.
- Plan and manage sales budget and resources.
- Define and maintain processes, procedures and work sheets for product costing, quotation creation, approval and submission in line with Bosch global standards.
- Quarterly and bi-annual price negotiations and adjustments with OEM purchasing.
- Manage local and Bosch central compliance audits.
- Advertising in local manufacturing and electronic journals, exhibition in trade shows.
**Qualifications**:
- Formal Engineering Degree or Diploma
