**The Job**

As the External Communication and Public Relations Lead at Triggerise, you’ll ensure that the work, projects, partners, impact and brand of Triggerise gain visibility, credibility and interest among our key stakeholders. These stakeholders are international philanthropies, foundations, development agencies, embassies, governments and consultancies. You’ll create a positive image and build a strong reputation of Triggerise by being responsible for:

- Managing the branding, social media and digital communications strategy. You’ll act as the custodian of the communication strategy that you’ve developed in line with the Triggerise strategic plan, fundraising strategy, donor management objectives and thought leadership agenda.
- Developing multiple external communication assets (thought leadership pieces, blog posts, audio-visual, social media, webinars, pitch decks ) and overseeing the tactical and operational execution of the communication work plan.
- Ensuring that the messaging sent externally does not put Triggerise at risk, and developing necessary crisis management plans and advising the executive team on the best mitigation strategy if these situations arise. If requested, you serve as the crisis management spokesperson for Triggerise.
- Serving as an internal expert resource for all corporate communication matters at Triggerise, and collaborating with marketing, internal communications and other relevant functions to ensure that our message is consistent and according to strategy in all cases.

**About You**

You have a deep and broad understanding of corporate communication trends. You are savvy in all communication channels and have a proven experience in building a positive reputation for Non-Profit organizations globally.

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years of experience in External / Corporate Communication, PR
- Experience with global communication
- Masters degree
- Passionate about the use of technology to create positive impact

The salary indications for our main locations are €1494 - €2241 in Ethiopia, R52 518 - R78 777 in South Africa, KSH 326 092 - KSH 489 138 in Kenya, €4185 - €6278 in The Netherlands, and €2746 - €4119 in Portugal, plus benefits and allowances. We will offer you a salary in this bracket depending on your level of experience and how it relates to your future colleagues.
