**Main Purpose of the Job**

A Marketing Manager main purpose is to promote the business, products, and services. The position seeks to ensure that client communicates appropriate messaging to attract and retain customers. This will be achieved through Digital platforms including social media management; Events and Sponsorship; Copywriting and content management; Data & Insights analytics; PR and Integrated Marketing communication.

The marketing manager will be responsible for many diverse activities, such as:

- Website, Social media management.
- Events and Sponsorship
- Copywriting and content management.
- Data & Insights analytics.
- PR and corporate communications

- Contribute to the development and refinement of clients strategy and product management
- Integrate business information, and compare, analyse, and produce reports to identify trends, discrepancies and inconsistencies for decision making purposes
- Align business and marketing functional strategies and ensure marketing activity performance feedback for business improvement and marketing value chain

2**. Products Strategy Formulation and Implementation**
- Support the development of the client marketing strategies.
- Coordinate the implementation of the CLIENT strategic market offering and operational plans
- Review Clients products Strategy, ensuring the strategic objectives are well understood and executed by the relevant parties
- Support in the development of strategies, policies and processes across all functions that will help to achieve the companys Product management core objectives
- Promote the company branding ensuring buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners;
- Scoping and prioritizing of activities based on business and customer impact; alignment with the clients Technical Department to deliver timeously to the market; support in the designing and implementing market research projects to assess customer attitudes to the current product range and new product
- Introductions and strategically drive product launches including working with the public relations team, executives, technical department, sales and other team members.

**Services promotions**
- Rolling out of special projects to support the objectives of the Sales and marketing department
- Analysis of the internal and external environment and development of plans to advance client services in the marketplace
- Continuous development of presales function to support customer engagements

- Report to the Head of Marketing regarding performance of the Promotions and marketing management functions
- Report to Head of Marketing on promotions planning and implementation
- Development of KPI, monitoring and evaluation techniques for all areas of responsibility

**3.** **Customer communication and public relations**

Maintain regular contact with customers to keep them aware of business developments and to seek feedback from them so that the company can effectively implement a programme of continuous improvement

and develop current and new products

Maintain an awareness of any possible threats to the business and brand, and accordingly develop policies and processes that will provide such contingencies

Benchmark and support the regular maintenance of a robust Website, and the intranet.

Manage the social media management platforms, by maintaining a schedule and content posting

Plan and manage the events and Sponsorships requests and calendars

Have an understanding of the PR function, source and manage content and copywriting of documents from other departments.

Comprehension of data analysis & creation of meaningful Insights for the Sales and marketing function

Perform any other work-related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from timeto-time by management.

- Relevant Bachelors Degree with specialisation in Marketing
- Management, or Business Management, Economics
- Experience - 5 to 8 years experience in a similar environment
- Understanding of industry technology trends and terminology related to the emerging telecommunications landscape, globally and locally.
