- Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience- A National Diploma in Chemical Engineering
- At least two years laboratory experience in a tertiary institution and or industrial experience in Chemical Engineering
- Good track record in demonstrating and supervising of Chemical Engineering practicals in a tertiary institution
- Knowledge and understanding of the latest technology and developments in the field Chemical Engineering

- BTech / Advanced Diploma/ BSc in Chemical Engineering
- Key Performance Areas / Principal Accountabilities- Supervise and demonstrate laboratory practicals on the Chemical Engineering programme
- Ordering of chemicals, materials and equipment for the laboratories
- Supervise and mentor student laboratory practical.
- Organise and manage Chemical Engineering laboratory facilities.
- Health and safety management of the laboratories
- Support postgraduate students and supervisors in their research
- Assist with departmental administration.
