Duties will include (but not Limited to):

- Undertake laboratory analysis and monitoring of microbial cultures, samples, products manufactured and new raw materials.
- Prepare broth and agars and grow microbiological cultures.
- Tracking environmental microorganism development.
- Recording, analysing and interpreting data and writing reports and reviews.
- Inspecting bulk and finished goods manufacturing processes to check for possible contamination.
- Maintain Inventory and conduct calibrations.
- Process operational information and documentation and include preparing and completing action plans.
- Receive training and assist in the RND lab with mock-ups, sample preparation, stability regimes and other special projects.
- Retrieve and prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analysing and summarizing information and trends including failed processes.
- Liaise with suppliers to determine compliance status and identify compliance risks.
- Work with QC, Operations, and RND stakeholders regarding compliance issues and provide administrative support.

**Requirements**:

- BSc degree with microbiology modules.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- A positive attitude, with good teamwork skills and work ethic for working in a production environment.
- COVID-19 Vaccination

**Salary**: From R14,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Paardeneiland, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelors (required)

**Experience**:

- Microbiology: 1 year (preferred)
