**Role: Lab Technician**

The above vacancy has occurred at Lubrizol South Africa in the Quality Assurance Division. The incumbent will report to the Lab Supervisor who in return reports to the HSEQ Manager. The grading for this position is dependent upon experience and the requirements for the position. The applicant should have previous experience in this role and must have the following competencies:
**Minimum qualification and experience required**:

- A recognized degree or equivalent
- 3-5 years relevant experience
- Experience analyzing, interpreting, and integrating data

- Ability to conduct laboratory testing
- In-depth knowledge of laboratory processes, procedures and equipment
- Check and record chemical product samples
- Conduct investigations on Drummed Products and Bulk Materials
- Record all investigative work
- Calibrate and Service Lab equipment
- Perform experimental or product development work
- Provide sample documentation
- Dispose of old retention samples

**Job Type**: Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: From R5,000.00 per month
