Manages and uses data analysis to inform, advise and execute decisions for the Company. Data mining and modelling will form a key platform to positively influencing overall business performance and strategies

Key KPA's:
**Data Acquisition and Maintenance**:

- Facilitates and manages all data extraction, collection, cleansing and preparation for use.
- Proactively obtain and integrate new data sources into company databases so that it can be easily maintained, analysed and included in relevant reports.
- Develop analytical models, scenarios and techniques for the company to standardize end-to-end data management within the Commercial environment
- Is the owner and custodian of Group Inventory Codes within ERP (Acumatica) to maintain the integrity of data, alignment and traceability across all products and stock items across all business units
- Manage Routing Software & Data utilization on Spatial Excel

**Insights/Modelling/Scenarios**:

- Understand and develop commercial requirements for data and best practice reporting.
- Design, develop, and maintain metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards to drive and track the performance of key business decisions
- Align trend analysis on historical data and deriving information to drive key business decisions.
- Analysis of data from various complex sources in order to ensure that the business acts proactively on the information at its disposal.
- Develop and build a comprehensive market intelligence function that facilitates decision making to maximise sales volume and margin.
- Work with Commercial team providing data driven insights to prioritise the development of key channels
- Provide feedback, outline capabilities, present analysis, insights and recommendations

- Part of team which develops detailed understanding of the business, and offer mentorship or technical solutions, process and plan suggestions to solve business problems.
- Education of report end-users so as to ensure a maximum spread of expertise around the company and promote “self-help” solutioning.
- Lead a capability building process that enables and enhances the interpretation and analysis of market research.
- Collaborate with Business Unit Managers to understand business performance and recommendations as relates to specific regions.

**Requirements**:

- A commercial, business or financial tertiary qualification
- **Strong commercial** understanding of data driven decision-making
- Minimum of 5 years in a business analyst/intelligence role
