Conveyancing Secretary Market Related Pretoria

Well Established Law Firm are in search of a Conveyancing Secretary with no less than 5 years experience in a Conveyancing Environment to join their firm.

Responsibilities will include
- Receiving instructions from developers, clients, sheriffs, trustees and estate agents to attend to the registration of transfers.
- Preparing various conveyancing and related documents independently.
- Contacting and liaising with clients, local authorities, estate agents, SARS, managing agents, home owners’ associations, banks and attorneys.
- Attending to the collection of costs from clients.
- Attending to issuing and payments of guarantees.
- Compiling and preparing of documents for lodgement, including deeds searches, collecting relevant FICA drafting documents and registration in Pretoria and within the country
- Filing, faxing, photocopying and general office duties.
- Taking messages.
- Attending to the Deeds Office process to successfully register transactions.
- Attending to all financial aspects of all transactions, including final accounts.
- Preparing debit notes, credit notes, investments and other accounting matters and/queries.
- Reporting to Head of department weekly
- Attending meeting with Banks and reporting according
- Updating systems, including DM11 and e4
- Arranging consultations with clients and attending to signature of documents with Head of Department

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Pretoria, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
