Summary:

Main Job Tasks, Responsibilities:

- Communicate with hub Q/Cs and planners on the status of work and deviations.
- Attend Meetings
- Follow-up on work for the next day and week
- Report deviations to the divisional manager and to the hub when required.
- Ensure to have standby teams are available when approved.
- Handover meeting with supervisor/Snr. Supervisors from previous shifts on the status of work.
- Delegating tasks to appropriate team members
- Managing deadlines and progress across the team to ensure the project is delivered on time and on budget.

Essential Knowledge
- Proven experience in successfully managing a significant operation
- Knowledge & Interpretation of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Risk Management
- Method Statement Preparation & Review,
- Site inspections and investigations,
- Company preparation for Audits,
- Compliance and maintenance of relevant ISO/OHSAS standards,
- Risk Assessment experience,
- OHS Act & Regulations implementation,
- an in-depth understanding of and the ability to interpret legislation,
- Company standards and program requirements to pass on knowledge and requirements to others.
- In-depth knowledge of sandblasting, painting, Insulation, and scaffolding (5 years minimum

Minimum Education and Experience
- 5 - 10 Years’ experience in Petrochemical environment
- Project management of significant projects
- Proven Leadership, Communication, and Line Management Experience
- Minimum matric
- Preferably a tertiary qualification.
