**Marketing Co-ordinator**

We are hiring for a **MARKETING CO-ORDINATOR** to improve our company marketing efforts and drive sales of new products.

**Summary**:This role entails managing digital communications and driving consumer traffic and engagement.

**Location**: Stikland, Cape Town
**Schedule**: Monday - Friday, Office based (possibility of hybrid)

**Responsibilities**:
Sales/Lead Generation
- Provide strategic direction / input on selling new products to existing markets and reaching new markets
- Create and implement different marketing strategies to drive sales/leads
- Make strategic use of all marketing assets
- Build and nurture relationships with all stakeholders related to the business

Brand Management
- Assist with developing brand strategy and execution plan(s)
- Drive brand positioning in current and new markets
- Create and increase general brand awareness

Digital Marketing
- Drive marketing initiatives and communication across paid, earned, shared and owned media.
- Create designs and content across paid, earned, shared and owned media.
- Advertise all items and the company on different platforms.
- Manage social media platforms for optimal engagement and sales
- Liaise with the 3rd party that manages our Adwords, SEO, and website
- Conduct general website maintenance, update online store with new products, write content, etc

General
- Maintain and build current client database through various initiatives.
- Make effective use of company mailing list.
- Manage Product image database.
- Create, manage and market product catalogues
- Direct and execute showroom designs, ideas, display, etc
- Creating and managing company profile.
- Create and manage spec sheets for all product items.
- Continuously analyse digital assets and their performance.
- Manage marketing budget
- Explore new ideas and opportunities for marketing.

**Requirements**:

- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience across all marketing types (paid/owned, traditional/digital)
- Diploma in either marketing, advertising and design (advantageous)
- Experience within food service equipment industry (advantageous)
- Experience in building a marketing infrastructure (processes, methodologies and tools to drive marketing effectiveness).

**Skills & Knowledge**:

- Strong understanding of digital assets (Facebook ads, Facebook Marketplace, Gumtree,

Google Ads, Instagram, etc)
- Strategic thinking about brand positioning, lead generation and customer retention.
- Basic photoshop and creative design skills
- Knowledge of brand building efforts and promotional activities
- Knowledge of catering/food service equipment
- Knowledge of current software & systems for delivery of marketing strategies
- Advanced use of Microsoft Office programs
