Raw Material Supervisor

Overview:
The Raw Material Supervisor will be responsible for receiving and issuing raw materials and packaging materials according to production picking list. The sampling process of raw materials at receiving will be supervised by the employee.

**Responsibilities**:

- Receive, store and issue raw and packaging materials.
- Inventory control on raw and packaging materials.
- Assist with all stock counts
- Perform weekly stock counts and determine variances
- Perform all related duties on M3 according to your function
- Stock rotation duties.
- Receive and put away all raw materials according to FIFO.
- Ensure that status labels are applied to all raw materials.
- Ensure batch numbers and quantities of allocated RM are accurate and correct.
- Ensure that the balance of raw materials returned balanced with the quantities consumed on the picking list.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.
- Execute pre-selection of raw materials according to picking list.
- Supervise the receiving and dispatch of bulk liquids at the Tank Farm.
- Ensure that raw material warehouse is always clean and tidy.
- Selection and allocation of over-runs for production as per manufacturing order.

Qualifications:

- Grade 12
- 3yr degree or diploma in Supply Chain/Procurement
- Certified to operate forklifts
- Ability to execute directions and written processes and procedures
- Mathematical Skills
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and be able to work with fractions and decimals.
- Understanding of warehouse standards and procedures
- Process driven
- Attention to detail and systematic approach to task execution
- 5yr experience in a manufacturing environment
- Language Skills:

- Must have written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to express clearly in English.
- Reasoning Ability:

- Ability to analyze and solve basic stock and warehouse problems on a basic level.

- Physical Demands:

- Employee must be able to stand and walk all day.
- Employee must be able to lift minimum of 25kg bags all day.
