Based in Gauteng with branches in Johannesburg, Durban, and Cape Town. **Job Profile**:
We are looking for an experienced external sales representative to grow our footprint in the wholesale and retail environment, while also targeting a portfolio of selected clients in the panel building, original equipment, and genset sectors. The incumbent should have extensive experience in the panel electrical wholesale industry and have first-hand knowledge of low-voltage switchgear and motor-control brands. Experience in the electrical industry is a must with in-depth knowledge of MCB, MCCB, MCM, panel boards and understands cascading principles, etc.

- Demonstrate a track record of building new business.
- Demonstrated track record of maintaining existing business.
- Demonstrated growth in profitability.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets.
- Demonstrated track record of strategic product sales.
- Present the brands to specifiers, electrical consultants engineers, OEM’s, municipal engineers, electrical contractors, and the like to create demand for the brands in the market.
- Provide technical support and guidance to CED clients for the range of brands available.
- Gather, verify, and summarise, “market intelligence” and report accurately on a monthly basis.
- Offer solutions to planned projects and facilitate full turnkey offerings.
- Provide feedback on what is being consumed in the market, where our pricing levels feature, and what items need to be stocked to accommodate these needs.
- Ensure that all elements of the administration of the sales process are completed.
- Coordination of post-sale logistics.
- Ensure always available and willing to assist with break-downs from time to time.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Calling on customers and providing external support to the existing database.
- Identifying potential customers.
- Growing customer basket through successfullyunderstanding customer needs.
- Ensuring a complete value chain sales experience.
- Demonstrated advanced product knowledge in the low-voltage electrical field
- Demonstrated ability to cross-sell product

**Minimum Qualification & Core Competencies**:

- Grade 12 essential
- Relevant Tertiary qualification, advantageous.
- Minimum 5 - 10 years’ experience in the low-voltage electrical sector
- Valid SA Driver’s License
