**Key Deliverables**:
**Strategy Development and Implementation **

Lead creation of sub-divisional strategy in line with overarching divisional goals with emphasis on client experience (internal and external) 

Ensure effective implementation of sub-divisional strategy by means of providing direction, structure, business plans and support 

objectivity management

**Governance**

**Adhoc, operational and tactical meeting **

Set up / participate in adhoc and operational meetings 

Participate and provide input into tactical meetings 

Report at process and functional level

**Escalations **

Manage and resolve escalations that have impact on critical path of service delivery 

Escalate issues that will result in significant time, scope, employee/customer or cost impacts if not resolved 

Manage and provide solutions to issues that require formal resolution

**Consumer Business Operational **

Set up and manage project status meetings 

Review and identify key risks, issues, and dependencies and set mitigation actions 

Manage budgets 

Sign off / make decisions regarding operational changes

**Consumer Business Tactical **

Provide input into the review of all projects initiated 

Review key risks, issues, and dependencies and set mitigation actions 

Manage budget

**Performance **

Review performance against agreed KPIs and compliance to SLAs 

Create and monitor plan for continuous improvement 

Review performance of teams

**Reporting **

Report on a monthly basis to management relating to progress made within the sub-division and in accordance with the measurement metrics set by the organisation 

Report on an ad hoc basis on specific projects as and when necessary

**Budgets **

Manage sub-divisional budgets in line with business objectives 

Manage project or initiative budgets in line with business objectives

**Operational Delivery **

Lead the implementation and realization of a data-driven S&D through relevant programs and engagements with markets, vendors and internal stakeholders 

Provide relevant insights on agreed frequency at group level to support leadership decision making 

Responsible for reporting for group S&D with clear focus on meeting deadlines 

Proactively analyse data for leadership decision making with focus on what drives business performance and identify opportunities for growth 

Provide input into the defining of the criteria to measure / improve Sales & Distribution efficiency 

Research market related tools (e.g. Market monitoring, airtime distribution and commissioning tools and processes and ensure they remain viable and in line with industry benchmarks 

Illustrate the demand driving customer contact across all customer touch points / contact channels, create awareness and recommend improvement opportunities delivering extraordinary customer service 

Implement world class efficiency in processing channel partners orders towards achieving excellent product availability and adequate depth and breadth product distribution 

Align commercial objectives in response to specific local market realities 

Assist with the develop and drive implementation of best practice trade management strategies 

Analyze and draw insights from business intelligence tools in order to drive sales of all MTN products 

Drive sales and revenue through optimal network capacity utilization 

Implement and manage effective sales order processing to ensure efficient fulfillment of products requirement in the trade 

Manage operational efficiency through effective logistics operations 

Manage effective cross functional engagement with other departments / units of the business towards the achievement of MTN corporate goals / commercial objectives 

Provide input into the development of end-to-end distribution strategies that ensure presence everywhere of all MTN products 

Implement and manage end to end distribution strategies that ensures presence everywhere of all MTN products 

Continuously ensure sales performance; trade propositions / compensation packages (commission & incentives) 

Ensure cross functional alignment and proper understanding of channel strategies 

Ensure high performance workplace through rewards; recognition and effective performance / objectivity management 

Prepare and manage divisional budget

**Collaboration / Coordination **

Ensure teams collaborate with Quality Assurance and Internal Audit teams to perform periodic quality and process audits 

Collaborate with other functional heads to enhance key elements of the consumer business model 

Collaborate with Group Management Services/Group Technology and Opco leaders to add and / or modify suite of services/support provided and develop standard templates and reports 

Manage enterprise-wide projects and initiatives
