**Commercial & Customer Care Executive** who will focused on sales, marketing and customer care management with both existing and potential customers, within the Fruit & Vegetable and Energy sector in South Africa. You will develop and execute a sales and customer care strategy and come with a high level of business and financial acumen, having ideally run your own P&L previously. We require excellent sales drive and marketing know-how, with an approach which is “Customer First” orientated. Your leadership skills will enable the team to succeed via motivation and personal development, whilst ensuring every task is performed in accordance with JBT Safety, Health and Environmental standards. We would like an engaging, dynamic personality, that people will enjoy communicating with, be that customer or colleague The position can be based in or near either our Cape Town or Johannesburg locations.

**Responsibilities**:
**A day in the life of our Commercial & Customer Care Executive**
- As a Leader you will be focused on setting realistic yet challenging goals, enabling talent development. From annual performance reviews to creating individual development plans, we would like someone who will support, guide and energise our team to succeed.
- Achieving profitability goals, by revising forecasts, market analysis, assessing competition level, sales channels and defining strategies and policies (lease pricing, parts pricing, etc.)
- You will create pricing policies and perform key customer negotiations (prices, deadlines, etc.), all whilst maintaining a high level of relationship with customers, through the formulation of commercial policies that are compatible with the interests of JBT whilst meeting the needs of our customers
- Commercial Excellence management is needed setting goals, establishing operating territories and targets whilst seeking business opportunities through new and adjacent markets developed with your sales team
- Excitingly you will contribute to the company's investment decision-making process and NPD, using an effective system for capturing and analyzing strategic market information and trends ensuring that the SalesForce database is updated to assure KPI tracking.
- You will closely monitor market information, customers, and competitors' products, through regular customers meetings, aiming to support the global R&D and Engineering teams in NPD initiatives
- Your responsibility encompasses supporting and advising the Customer Care and Citrus Field Service Managers to ensure the successful fulfillment of the entire Customer Care process, focusing on the maintenance of contracts and long-term relationships
- The maintenance of cost management establishing the variables that may interfere with the performance of our team, must be reviewed with the aim to take preventive actions. Whilst not forgetting to monitor performance and stimulating the growth of spare parts sales both in terms of revenue but also in terms of margin %
- Marketing initiatives need to be assertive (internal and external), with the development of seminars and product introductions. Customer satisfaction surveys will either maintain and/or improve the JBT team performance with customers and you will represent the company at events and trade shows whilst promoting new product launches to customers / prospects and ensuring rapid market intro / adoption
- HSE is “Safety First” at JBT, every task is to be performed in accordance to JBT Safety, Health and Environmental standards

Qualifications:
**What will we look for from your resume**
- Ideally 10+ years’ experience with complex / diverse capital goods, ideally in the Food or Packaging segments
- A degree in Engineering, Business Administration with MBA (desired) or something of a similar level
- That you have held P&L responsibility and have dealt with long-term contracts / industry relationships - focusing on lifetime cycles and TCO (Total cost of Ownership)
- A successful track record in leading Commercial and Care teams with both new business and market development
- Proven history dealing with competitive markets / landscapes and fluent English and Afrikaans (a necessity when communicating with our customers)
